Kei islands
Kei islands, Maluku, Indonesia. Talking about 'off the beaten track', this is it. Most people haven't even ever heard of these islands, tucked away in the east of Maluku, close to the Indonesian side of Papua. The laid back Kei islands are known for incredible soft white sand beaches. It truly is amazing to walk on or lie on a beach like that and having it all to yourself. If I could choose a beach to live on, the one at Ohoidertutu would be it, 4 km of the softest sand you've ever felt, the only ones there some local kids playing around.
