Batanes

Last Frontier of the North in the Philippines. The northernmost islands of the country, an isolated group of islands right in the ocean in the path of the destructive typhoons. The landscapes are formed by the climate, making it into the ‘Schotland of the Philippines. One of the most special places I have ever visited, I love Batanes and its wonderful, friendly and honest people. I visited all 3 inhabited islands: Batan, Itbayat and Sabtang, during my 18 day stay in this piece of paradise.
